Join us for our Circular Economy Working Group meetings which are being held on the 4th Wednesday of every month.

The January meeting of the Leaders in Energy Circular Economy Working Group will be held on Wednesday, January 30th from 6:00-8:00 pm at George Washington University, Science and Engineering Hall in room 2000.

The theme is From Micro To Macro: This month’s meeting will begin with a presentation from Ben Pitler from  ReGift, Reuse, Recycle on seasonal circularity (bring your holiday recyclables if you haven’t already disposed of them). Then we will get a report on the circular economy and the UN Climate Report from Michael McLay. We will then spend the rest of the meeting workshopping new CE concepts for the region.

We are working to identify circular economy principles and opportunities for implementation in the DMV region (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia).

The Circular Economy Working Group materialized from past Leaders in Energy workshops and activities on the circular economy.  See more information on these below.

Send an email to info@leadersinenergy if you would like to join us for the next CE working group meeting if you are not already on the CE mailing list.

We will be posting a recording of the Embassy event as well as a recap article in the near future.
